LETS RIDE!!!

Stopped at the Harley Shop to shed our rain gear check out the new bikes then find our way to the hotel. The GPS on Dad’s bike did not like the address we were giving and it refused to give us directions. So we showed her we let Siri lead the way.

The town of Dyersville is awesome. It has that old small town feeling, but is filled with energy and excitement. Micro breweries and tasty diners and restaurants.
Taking full advantage of the opportunities that a little movie made for them in 1989. A Field of Dreams
This the farm that 36 year old Ray Kinsella originally heard the voice say to him “ If you build it, he will come” with the support of his wife and daughter, Ray begins this endeavor by turning his ordinary cornfield into a place where dreams can come true.
He built a ballpark where the ghost of ball players who’s dream to play ball again could become a reality. This is The Field of dreams.
Dreams have continued to be fulfilled on this field ball players from young to old have enjoyed playing ball in this magical place. We are here watching a couple of vintage baseball team making there dream come true. The Black Flags of Drovertown.
Bay City Independents
I wish this would allow me to put a video on here because Landon “Yeti” Smith is up to bat and knocks it way out into the cornfield. The sound is so sweet when the ball connects with the bat at the perfect time. You just know that ball is gonna take a good long ride. This ended up being the only “clean” home run of the game. Huzzah Yeti!!!
Tallykeeper hard at work.
